Read and write reviews about Nature Conservation Fund of Mongolia. “The Nature Conservation Fund” (NCF) was established in 1998, in accordance with Article 34 of the Law on Environmental Protection and by the Government Resolution No. 188/1998. In 2012, Rules and Procedures of the fund were renewed; additionally its organizational and human resource structures were approved by the Government Resolution No. 189/2013. Further, the Nature Conservation Fund Board members were designated by the order No. A-09 of Minister for the Environment and Green Development in 2013. The Nature Conservation Fund mission is to support programs and services that values and conserves nature, and use funding with optimal efficiency; various research studies in ecosystems, programs and services are to protect the nature and biodiversity, preserve nature, provision strategies on the sustainable use of natural resources, introduce advanced environmentally sound technologies to reduce adverse effects on the environment, spread environmental laws and policies, encourage the activities of individuals and entities in monitoring the implementation of programs and services, and increase the awareness of ecological education among citizens.
